Project Description

Counseling and Mentoring

Anyone who seeks help is invited to meet with a professional who will understand his or her need beyond a superficial level. Whether it is rent money to get over a hump, a car payment, groceries or even a desire to grow beyond addiction, benevolence staff discerns legitimate needs and musters resources to address the need.

In every case care is taken to address the deeper issues that prompted the need in the first place. Whether it is an accident, addiction, job loss, family breakup or language barriers, the counselor moves to meet the need. Volunteer mentors are assigned to each benevolence case to help the client move beyond the crisis.

In cases when family or personal resources are simply not available, the Foundation will seek to fund the addiction rehabilitation.

Job Assistance

HopePlex volunteers offer employment preparation and job matching for those in the community needing work. Long-term unemployment leads to discouragement, poverty and family disintegration. A good job is often just a connection away.

Keeping with the Let Hope Rise commitment to offer ways to help people to their feet, connecting people to jobs by increasing their awareness and preparedness for work offers stability to their families.
